Hi Daemon, I'm also in Australia and have depression and social anxiety. I've just recently been prescribed diazepam 5mg twice daily in addition to Zoloft 200 mg per day. So far the diazepam has done absolutely nothing. My doctor said he could prescribe clonazepam, but only privately. I believe it costs about $22 a month for 0.5 mg twice a day, compared to the diazepam I'm taking at $11 a month. He's also looking to get a health department authorisation for dextroamphetamine to both augment the antidepressant, and increase my sociability. If I was you, I'd see your own psychiatrist ASAP for clonazepam.
