Gee, I'm sorry to say I don't know. That was the phrase that the author used in the book. I'm sure there are formal medical tests for brain function, but most of those will uncover less subtle problems.
It's possible that you could work with a psychiatrist whose willing to use natural methods. Based on symptoms, you may be able to figure out what's wrong and correct it.
