Hey, I'm a few days new to this forum. I've been very skeptical about what I've read but I'm starting to appreciate the feedback. (It's kind of like a support group :)
I've been on Effexor XR (37.5 mg) for one week. My dose is supposed to increase today to 75 mg.
I'm doing OK on it so far and feeling much better. I was going to go off of it c/t until I started reading what has happened to some of you who did this. To tell you the truth though, I'm beginning to like the positive change in the way I feel.
But is this just the "high" before the crash? Is it common to go way down after a few weeks?? Will I automatically need a higher and higher dose?
I know I'm "asking for it"...but I really need to know, what's the worst that can happen on this AD? I'm going to share some of your stories with my doctor as an argument to get me off of this stuff before it's too late!
