hey lexman,
sorry to hear things aren't going so great with your meds. i've been on a lot of antidepressants-- lexapro, paxil, effexor, zoloft, and wellbutrin. i definitely felt stupid on paxil and effexor. right now, i'm on zoloft and wellbutrin, along with xanax and klonopin, and i drink several times a week without any problems. i'm in college, too, and it's really important not to have that foggy stupid feeling, so if i were you, i would talk to my dr. about switching meds. sometimes it takes more than one try, sometimes even three or four tries to find the right med, but once i found it, i started feeling better really fast. good luck, cb
