Um while I wouldn't put it quite that way, I agree somewhat with the idea of the previous poster.
Maybe you're just an unusual person who hasn't accepted that yet? Not everyone is meant to drink, not everyone has fun at parties, not everyone gets along with their roommates (I sure never did) and DEFINITELY not everyone can/will achieve a 4.0, even under the best of circumstances.
Try meeting a different kind of crowd, join a club or something, meet a different sort of people. There may very well be a less judgemental sort of people that you'll get along with better.
Personally I joined a club that meets to watch Japanese Anime, which is perfect cuz I sit down in a big room and if I don't feel like making friends or talking to anyone, I don't.Now for the cliches: You're you, don't try to be someone you're not! Accept who you are!
...once you've accepted your own strengths and limitations, you can pick friends who will suit you better.
