My personal opionion is that psychiatrists should try on themeselves the meds they prescribe. They would be more aware of what they're doing and it would be far from scientific than believing in what they read. Another necessary step for their degree should be reading Psychobabble, at least a couple of hours a day, and experience Paxil and Effexor withdrawal, in order to get the specialization. I just can't stand that I know about meds reactions more than the psychiatrists I have met.
