i've been on zoloft and zyprexa together, and i think, for me anyway, it was only the zyprexa causing weight gain. i'd been on zoloft before, and i've been on it since stopping zyprexa, and i haven't had any weight gain problems when i've cut out the zyprexa. if your son keeps gaining weight, maybe he can try some of the other antipsychotics? zyprexa is the only one that has blown me up like a balloon.
