Not only zyprexa 20 mg. your son has been on, but also Zoloft causing 'Weight Gain.' Then, if your pdoc. could find some other 'Good' alternative for anti-dep., you'd better to ask other Anti-depressant, not any of SSRIs, other class of anti-dep.
The reason why your son got weight issue is because of Zyprexa and Zoloft. However, on the otherhand, if your son has been getting 'benefit' from both meds., ... then it might be better to stick with this med. combo. Because, there is NOT too many med. choice once coming to 'right med. combo.' For this, it's quite disappointing thing to hear, ... but this is the truth.
