Straterra help time management? Or any other drug?

Posted by utopizen on February 20, 2004, at 18:20:29

Okay, I need help with time management. Trying to use CBT for it, but I think combining it with something other than the amphetamines-- which aren't exactly the best for managing your time unless you're a cleaning lady or want a very clean house or get paid to search through Medline-

I was thinking of augmenting Straterra with my Desoxyn, or switching to Straterra and going back on Adderall

(I liked the conistency of Adderall, lasting longer than me having to realize I needed to take it again).

I was thinking about Aricept, because 25% of patients with ADD and associated "Executive Dysfunction" (simplified, it's basically focusing on the wrong stuff and makes you unproductive). Some trend docs augment it with a stimulant. But I've read it can cause sleep distrubances in geriatric patients, and at 20, I'm assuming it would for me as well...

not good, given my EDS already forced me to order Ambien from a U.S. online pharmacy yesterday so I won't get a stuffy nose from Remeron 15mg b.i.d. and can actually use my sleep apnea machine (I'm scrony, but I have it).

Anyway, anyone go from a stimulant to Strattera, or added it, and felt more productive with things directly related to school work? Stims only seem to help me clean my room and call companies when something I buy breaks or what not. And do laundry.
