I'm monotherapy Klonopin for 3 years. It has worked great for me and I will always support it's approiate use BUT........... you need to find a supportive doctor that monitors you really closely, esp. when beginning. I'm sorry, but there is no substitute for that part of the process if you are to avoid the pitfalls that can occur. Without supervision, it's only self medicating and just because we CAN get our hands on RX's without a face to face doc does not mean we should.
You need to watch it's use with alcohol, too.
