Bruising ~very~ easily, a compromised liver, and the neccesity for many meds from time to time has been a years long journey for me, too, just as you might be beginning, CB04.

Althought we are each of us different and may have many different complexities resulting in this bruising/liver/meds "red flag", i feel i just have to speak up here with my own (not-always-so-humble)IMHO, and share the simple results and remedy that i am almost embarassed to admit hadn't dawned on me until i'd spent years of my life through many different MD & Liver Specialists & appointments & DXs & medications & thousand$ of dollar$....
to finally *click* together what a highpriced and famous PhD.ND(Natureopath) directed me to do, with something my G'ma had been telling me all along : "Oh Honey, it has nothing to do with your being redhaired and whiteskinned, or even that you were jaundiced when you were born~ you just have to EAT MORE ORANGES! Strawberries, red bell peppers, honest limes/lemon-aides, water water water, and raw spinach, child! and an ORANGE a day for you! a REAL one".
...finally it *clicked* when the ND quite seriously said (yet a smile in her eyes) "Yes, you have this liver-life-challenge, and yes, there will be some pharmaceudicals we cannot substitute, but ....Vitamin C in real raw food~ organic~ the juiciest the better~ REAL fruits & vegetables with the highest contents of Vitamin C~ DAILY~ will do even more for you than your suppliments working alone".

i used to bruise if someone looked at me with their "stink-eye".
Since ND & G'ma's perscribing, i've resumed (as often as i feel well enough) deep-back packing/camping and Aikido -and tumbling with kindergarteners- with rare and faster healing bruising than i've had in a decade or _two_.
Still i am forbidden to take Tylenol/acetaminophen & must insist with extremely obnoxious confrontational reminders sometimes (*sigh*) with new MDs (it depends on them, really, but that's why they make the BigBuck$, isn't it?) to do their homework/research regarding any/all new RXs proposed... but my liver enzymes, etc. testing done annually continues to present better than the last year consistantly.

SO to make this very long & late-night sharing's conclusion, CB04 :
Yes,
SOME 'psych meds' can challenge one's liver. If your liver and health habits are functionally strong, you'll cope with it in a balance that you and your RXing Pdoc are honouring with wisdom and skill.
Yes,
Bruising can be an initial mild beginning sign that your body is asking you for something you might be forgetting, or for something ~natural~ it needs more of.
Yes,
I have experienced what you describe in your post, and do hereby offer this disclaimer that i don't even play any of the many kinds of proffessional MD., PhD, ND, or even Grandmas on TV or in Online Internet postings,
but my experience and long journey down the road i think i understand you're describing, compels me to embarass myself by telling you my story and very ~very~ simple natural remedy that i would suggest you give a month's try.

Duplicating myself in sleepy-eyed triplicate,
Escher

P.S.
Can you get available to you a formula made by 'Eclectic Institute' called "Vita Lipotropic" ?
