Although it is not said, it can take a month to notice a real improvement in mood. For some, even more. It depends on the sevarity of the depression. You did not get depressed over night - likewise it can take a while for you to get better.
I had my best days almost 6 months after starting celexa.
Anyhow, to speed up the process you may want to make sure you are eating as best you can. Take a multivitamin, its a good idea.
The paxil will restore the ballence very quickly, but the it is the neurogenesis (birth of new brain cells) that helps you to see your problems differently. Proper nutrition an exercise will facilitate the repair of your brain.
P.S. Make sure your folic acid levels are high. This vitamin has been shown in clinical studies to boost antidepressant effectivness, and speed the responce.
