Hey, a guy I know takes a MAOI--can't remember what exactly. BUt when I told him I was using this board he said be sure and say how he went to the ER after eating some Kon Pao chicken at this place he eats at all the time. Told me it must have been the sauce and he didn't guess how much soy sauce was it, plus they told him at the ER it might have had red wine in it too, which he says is another thing he can't eat.
So he's fine now but says he's never going to eat anything oriental that has a brown sauce. He said fried rice probably has lots of soy, too, so he just eats the white kind and the sweet and sour stuff. So I guess always ask about the soy sauce, because they put it in everything.
