I can't answer the question about OCD and Geodon, but can help a little about the sedating factor(s) of the drugs you mentioned.

I think whether or not you will feel sedated depends on the dosage, first of all. I have taken all four drugs at one time. A teeny dose of Risperdal and never noticed sedation. Zyprexa was sedating, especially at first. Geodon was very sedating, I found, however, I also had untoward side effects with that drug. Seroquel, at first, I found to be extremely sedating, even at a 12.5mg dose. Now I can take 50mg at bedtime and not feel its effects for an hour or so. At the beginning, the 12.5mg affected me so badly and quickly that I almost fell asleep on my feet at work, no kidding.

Everyone reacts differently to medications and at different dosages. Some people are more sensitive to sedation effects than others. You have to try and see what the medications do for you.
