> I think you should first explore increasing the dosage of Effexor to 300mg if you haven't already. In addition, I don't think Remeron is adequately explored until one gets to a minimum of 45 mg. Combining Effexor with nortriptyline is an excellent idea. It helped me. The trick with nortriptyline is that you must get the dosage just right. Too high is as bad as too low. Be sure to test your blood levels in the beginning to fine tune it.

Hi Scott, thanks for the reply :) Increasing the Remeron for me makes me very cranky & irritable. I've tried increasing the Efexor but it gives me bad anxiety & a general feeling of illness. Right now I am as happy as I have ever been but I have zero motivation & energy to do anything. I am the ultimate procrastinator, I can put anything off forever. I'd like to try Reboxetine, but it's hard to find anyone who has a nice thing to say about it. Nortriptyline looks like something that I could replace Remeron with & maybe add some energy.
