L-Theanine for reducing Social Anxiety + G.A?

Hi, I was wondering whethere anyone has ever tried L-Theanine tablets ?(apparently found in Green Tea). Apparently it has been proven to increase levels of GABA, although the proof is in the pudding so to speak!
It appears to have no side effects or withdrawal symptoms & could probably be taken long term.

Anyone with any experiences?
