Paxil was my first successful run on an Anti-Depressant. It helped alot with my anxiety-enough so that my friends could tell when I stopped taking it. Worst side effect was anorgasm. Worst complaints I hear about Paxil now is weight gain and withdrawal. My husband in on Paxil with no problems at all.

They want let me take the older meds which worked in the past so we have tried alot of the newer ones which haven't worked. I suffer w/deperission and anixity. presently on 30 mg. of remeron. it helps some but not with the anixity which I feel is more of a problem. anyway my pdoc wants to add paxil. Anyone tried this ??????
