i have a very good friend whose marriage is
ending because of this issue.

Mine almost did.

No matter what you can fool yourself into believe,
intimacy between marriage/life partners is a must and
that includes a healthy sexual relationship.

I know it probably seems easier right now to be
able to ignore the issue since you both are on the
same page, as it were, but in the long run, there
will be other issues to deal with.

This has become a pet rock issue for me in the last
couple of years and I've done a lot of thinking
and talking about it with different people.

Check out health issues (physical and emotional) as to
why you and/or your partner may not be interested
in sex - this is something that must be dealt with
upfront.
