Diagnosed with axonic ideopathic peripheral neuropathy (affecting the axons of the nerves - of the peripheral nervous system- no known cause or cure - and progressive death of the nerves)-
I have been on neurontin(up to 2400 mg/day) and found I can use my brain on 700mg/day, but have a fair amount of pain.
Starting next week they are shifting me to trileptal (150mg x 2/day)--
Anybody know anything about this med - side effects - etc?
