Dex vs Addrl vs Rtln

Posted by Questionmark on November 16, 2003, at 1:17:21

Okay, i've seen many of you say that dextroamphetamine is considerably smoother than Adderall-- that the latter causes more irritability, increased heart rate, nervousness, and inconsistent effects. i was surprised to hear this since they are both such similar drugs, even though i did find Ritalin/methylphenidate better than Adderall in these ways, also. Ritalin is so much better, for me.
But my question is, since i have never tried straight dextro-, how does this (dextro) compare with methylphenidate? Which has a harder come-down? Which is more inconsistent and "unsmooth"? Which causes more nervousness and anxiety? And which has greater effects on heartrate and tremors and stuff? Any other differences?
Thank you, if any of you can help answer i appreciate it.
