wellbutrin as stand-alone for social anx/OCD?

My doctor won't consider wellbutrin as add-on to Lex for sexual s/e. He is a teetotaler when it comes to mixing. He says he'd sooner try Wellbutrin as a stand-alone. From what I recall from posts, there haven't been many + experiences of Wellbutrin for social anxiety/OCD generally. I really would like to hear of others' counsel or experiences.
