I have been taking Klonopin for quite sometime now. When I was taking it regularly, I noticed it majorly increased my depression. For me, it was also extremely addictive. I cut back to taking it only when I have insomnia, and using Ativan for my anxiety. Currently, I have begun taking it regularly again due to having my cat die (I was very attached to him, and the incident has caused much anxiety and another bout of depression). If I were you, I would switch to a different antianxiety, one that is less addictive. -Elle

P.S. Klonopin is HARD to get off of.
