Whats the max wellbutrin dosage?

Hi Ive tried wellbutrin sr before at 300 mgs and i didnt notive any effect after a couple weeks. Im 19, and my doctor says that he finds young people often need higher doses because they metabolize drugs faster (is this true?) anyway, what would be the highest dose a 19 year with no eating disorders or seizure disorders could take?
