I have had good experinces of paxil and very bad on effexor. All I can say if paxil worked for you dont play around with your health and go back to paxil. The fact that you were on low doses and it was working tells me even more that you shouldn't be on another drug.

Cheers Robert

> I've been on Effexor XR for about a month and have noticed some improvement in my depressive symptoms as far as improved mood, but my anxiety is as bad as ever. Add to that the fact that the Effexor seems to give me tremors. I'm currently taking 75mg. I also take Xanax .025 mg prn for the anxiety that the Effexor seems to be making worse. In the past I was on a low dose of Paxil and did very well. I also think the Effexor is killing my libido, which wasn't a problem when I was on Paxil. I am seriously considering asking my doctor to switch to Paxil because the side effects of the Effexor are so bothersome. Has anyone else experienced these effects?
