In reply to depression from ssri's, posted by miss beth on September 28, 2003, at 23:03:24

I experienced increase depression and other unpleasant effects while taking Zoloft, Celexa, Paxil and Lexapro.

My doctor and I came to the conclusion that SSRIs were just not the right meds. for my chemistry.

I'm now taking 300mg. Wellbutrin XR and doing very well.

Yes, it is possible to feel more depressed if you are not on the right meds.

> has anyone ever experienced depressions from ssri's? when i take them i get an overwhelming depression that is suicidal. its like an overload of emotion. i was thinking maybe its because of the other drugs i am on.
