Is Effexor XR worth the withdrawal effects?

Posted by cubic_me on September 29, 2003, at 7:09:39

I've just been to the psychatrist and she's changed me from Effexor to Effexor XR because I'm getting withdrawal effects whenever I'm coming up to the next dose (yay, finally someone who recognises that withdrawal effects!).

Is it worth going on Eff XR if its going to be so hard to get off? Is it harder to get off a higher dose than a lower dose?

Any opinions would be helpful cos I'm abit stuck with what to do, and although the headshocks/diziness/nausea etc makes me practically unable to function I'll almost try anything to get me better.
