lexapro and celexa differences

Posted by prozacpuppet on September 28, 2003, at 22:23:31

The very first ssri I was placed on was citalopram and now after trying all the others I'm pretty much convinced that it is still the best one for me, it has the less side effects, but I had to keep taking larger doses for to it to keep working. I am now considering starting it again but am not sure which one to take, the lexapro or the celexa? I would like to hear what others have to say on the differences experienced between citalopram and the new escitalopram. Is there much of a difference between the two?
