Hi Jasmine~WOW I haven't heard that med in a long time. Back in 1994, before I had started any psych meds, my PCP doc put me on Librium for Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I was having excruciating pain with tests results *normal*
Librium was a great med:-) for me anyway.
It did calm me down a lot.
Anything else you would like to know from my experience~please ask:-)
Take care.

> In my ongoing search for potential "back-up" meds, if my current regime doesn't work-out, I was wondering if anyone had used (Chlordiazepoxide) Librium with success, and what it's down-sides might be?? It seems to be little discussed here and I know it's one of the "old-school" benzo's, like Valium. So might be considered too sedating/addictive.
