My weight loss started at about 50 mg, and I don't think it became any stronger at higher doses. I as well got terrible headaches on it the first time I took it 4 years ago so I stopped.This time around, I have not gotten any headaches. As far as those brain "fade" moments, I found that they are related to dose amount. My moments got so bad I decreased from 200 to 100 a day and now I am ok. It doesn't sound too good for you though, if you are having this at 50mg, I can only imagine you at 200. You are going to have to decide what is more important to you, losing weight or losing your IQ. Leslie
