I've been on seroquel for Bipolar II for about 3 months now, and 50mg still makes me pretty sleepy. 50mg is my nighttime dose, along with 25mg doses in the morning and afternoon, so that I am still able to function.

I would say that sedation is the only side effect I've had so far. There's been some weight gain, but I think that was due as much to sedentary lifestyle as anything else.

I've felt *so* much better because of the drug that I've taken up going to the gym again; so hopefully, that will address the weight issue.

I hope it works for you.
