I had the same reaction when I first started taking Lex. I thought to myself, "This medicine makes me feel completely STUPID!" It was like simple little things just slipped my mind, I forgot things I needed to do at work, and just felt like I couldn't think properly. But I've been on it for about 5 months, and that feeling has gone away....I think maybe it's just your brain getting used to these new chemicals in it, and adjusting itself (just my own non-scientific opinion). So there's hope - you won't always feel so dumb!! (Unless you're in law school, like me, and then you just go through a period of feeling stupid cause that's what it does to you.)
