I have been on Provigil for about two weeks now. Just taking 200mg in the morning and then taking 1/2 a tablet on Monday's when I have school after work. I started taking it for Ididopathic Hypersomnia (sort of like Narcolepsy, minus a few key symptoms). Excessive Daytime Sleepiness was taking over my life. During the day I was sluggish and in a fog constantly. I was unable to finish the last two semesters of school and dropped classes each time because I just couldn't keep up (not that I wasn't capable). Since I have been taking Provigil, my mind seems so much clearer, alert and definitely awake! People around me have noticed that my energy level is up as well as my overall disposition. Side effects only lasted a couple of days for me. Mainly stomach ache and a little nausea and a monster headache. After a week all that went away. I still notice that I will get a little jittery if I don't eat when I am supposed to. It has also decreased my appetite quite a bit (which for me isn't all that bad). It has not affected my sleep at all. I actually think I rest better since I am exerting so much more energy during the day now.

And yes, my thoughts are racing at times. I am soooo ready to tackle all those projects that have been collecting dust while I was sleeping away my life. I also notice that I tend to hyper focus alot on Provigil.
