In my experience, Strattera is worth trying. The key (for me at least) has been to increase the doses gradually -- each dosage increase caused mild nausea/heartburn and muscle aches, which wore off within a few days. As for sexual side effects, I haven't noticed anything whatsoever (very different from SSRIs), except perhaps a slight increase in libido. It seems to be a useful mood-brightener with some help in focus, especially in combination with prescription amphetamines. For me, it mixes well with Adderall (and Klonopin).

I suspect that many doctors start people with too high a dose and the side effects are intolerable this way. Try starting at 25 mg (available in the free starter packs), and work up slowly from there.
