Hi, I am from Alabama and I am 29 years old and have been taking zoloft for 5 yrs. I also take .5mg of xanax. I take the xanax at 5pm and the zoloft at 10pm. Since I have been on the zoloft, I have gained 60lbs. My husband was injured in a farming accident 2 years ago and crushed his arms and legs. I have a 9 and 5 year old and I am all they have. I desperatly want to be here for them. Yesterday I went to the diet doc and he prescribed fastin 30mg. I told her of the other meds I was on and she said that it would be okay and I also talked to a pharmasist who said the same, but yet another pharmasist says he does to recommend them together. I know I need the zoloft because I have had terrible panic attacks, but I'd really like to give this a try. I know this may sound crazy but I don't want to die from being overweight and also don't want to die from trying to lose weight. I need my family and they need me. Please anyone, Do you know if it is okay to take these meds together or not?
