I used to take Parnate, and my first day on it my blood pressure dropped to 80 over 35 (I kept thinking of all the movies and TV shows I had seen where a nurse says, "We're losing him, doctor. His blood pressure's continuing to drop"). It gradually rose from that point, but it remained below normal the entire time I was on the drug.
