My understanding is that there may not be one exact way that the rash starts to show, but how the neurologist described it for me is exactly what i had. Mine kind of look like acne, or measles. Little red welts and mine were painful to touch. That is what alarmed me, the pain went way into the skin.
When you mentioned pain, with respect to having skin eruptions, I was very concerned. The sores in your mouth are consistent, as well. The problem is, this is taking place inside your body too, where you can't see it.

I got no explanation as to why it wouldn't show again, but perhaps that is their experience. They said that if it did come back a second time, i was to again call their office. However I have doubts that my psychiatrist will want me to go back on it as when she has prescribed it alone (i mean w/me she is working w/ the neurologist) she has never re-prescribed it after someone developed a rash.
