OK, i'll try to do this by comparison. Say its cold outside but you are used to it. You don't like it though and you get the Effexor jacket and wear it for a month. When you throw the jacket away because you don't like it, will it seem colder than it was before? Possibly, until you're body adjusts to the cold again.

On Effexor, your mind can be insulated against anxiety. I'm not sure how long it takes to adjust to being without again. Some people say that the depression symptoms return worse than ever. I might mutter under my breath that if the *depression returned when you stopped, obviously the Effexor was working*. But I understand that the side effects of Effexor can be too much for some folks. i'm one of the lucky ones.
