You didn't notice a smoother day? I did. On 37.5 I seemed to be just about to the point of feeling "smooth" but not quite there. The second day I was on 75 I felt much better waking and going to bed. It seemed at 37.5 the med was worn off by morning and late night. Also side effects such as slight irriatable bowel diminished after going to 75. I was on 37.5 three weeks before I made the jump not because of side effects but wanting to see if I could just stay at 37.5, but after that amount of time I figured it was worth a try at 75, I could always go back down if there was a problem. So far so good on 75mg Effexor XR!
