What is the best way to get a tablet absorbed as quickly as possible on an empty stomach?
Sometimes I may take a tablet or capsule with water on an empty stomach. This may happen in the nigth when I have to take a short acting sleeping tablet because I am not sleeping. I just get up, grab a tablet, swallow it with water and then go back to bed.
I can't help wonder that the medication may not pass through the stomach until some food stuff comes along.
Being night time the passage of food in the gut is probably slowed quite a lot too,
Does anyone have any suggestions for what to eat or drink to spped up the passage of the med from my stomach.
