I'm right along with ya. I myself have been slowly learning the extent to which my own self-absorption creates my own private little hell. But, fortunately this has forced me to learn ways of psychologically adapting by focusing my attention and awareness on the existence of things that are not necessarily "catastrophic." But every now and again I sort of forget how to do this!! and I have to be reminded, always with a comical sense of feeling like a schmuck (is that how you spell that word)?
