EPHEDRINE, DEXEDRINE OCD, ADD

Do medications for ADD could help anyone with OCD??
I have ocd and use ephedrine (herbal stimulant) sometimes, which completely relieves my symptoms. This is really strange though since a stimulant like ephedrine is usually only helpful for ADD.

I am also wondering whether a stimulant like dexedrine would help with ocd.

I have also tried all the SSRI's- all had terrible side effects and made me tired ALL the time.
