Smoking either raises or lowers serotonin, I can't remember. It either boosts SSRI's or lessens them.

Based on what you wrote, I would say NO, do NOT increase the EffexorXR - it is known to increase impulsivity and possible mania/hypomania in those with BiPolar 1 or 2, and you are on two other meds that also can increase impulsivity, definitely the Lexapro.

Lamictal is also activating.

I would say to stay where you are, although I wonder why you are on both Effexor 150mg and Lexapro? Those are both ad's and you could get *Serotonin Syndrome* from being on two SSRI's. Don't mean to scare you, just wondering ...
