> > Hi Andrew How are you it's temoigneur/Ben here. I'm on about my seventh week of Nardil - unfortunately up until now it doesn't seem to have been the magic pill for me, although it has helped with my OCD. I was wondering about augmenting Nardil with other agents, you sent me a list once of things to try, unless the list is sitting at home in a pile of paper I don't have it right now, I was wondering if you had access to that info still, you had a wide range of suggestions, agents ranging from pindolol to bromocriptine. Right now I feel restless and anxious, unless I take a high dose of clonazepam, which makes me dopey. Any suggestions thanks so much, I'll look for the list and let you know if I find it.

Hey Andrew, before I forget my email is Bentley79@hotmail.com. I apologize I haven't looked on here for a long time, I didn't see the message. Good news, today I'm feeling not too bad. I still feel kind of dull because of all the clonazepam I'm on, but is that true the clonazepam could actually be working against the nardil.
>
> OK, your situation: Is it possible to lower the clonazepam?- have you tried? This might be working against Nardil.

Lower the clonazepam has kind of a central theme in my life for the past few years, I've never been able to lower it without the anxiety taking over, but if I keep feeling better on the Nardil I'll definately lower it. I thought of a drug, perphenazine recommended by a neurosurgeon who has Tourrettes, it's good for anxiety, I'm going to ask my pdoc if I could try to replace some of the clonazepam with it. It does raise the chance of TD but my pdoc told me that people with Tourrettes (sp?) have a much lower change of developing TD - However my tourrettes is in remission to the point where I wonder if I have it, anyways..

Yeah today I definately felt better than I have in a long time, almost as good as the fourth day I took Nardil, I felt really good for a short period,
> That list I have at home, I'm going to do another now of the top of my head, all should be safe with Nardil. I realize you take Zyprexa too.

> Dude, what do you do for hobbies? I notice you read some Nietzsche and stuff like that. Honestly man, and I only say this cause I care, I would stay away from 'deep thinking'- at least until you are better. Stay away from the dark profound mysterious stuff. Go to movies, watch comedy, chase girls, but don't worry about the deeper things yet. Stay clear of all negativites.
>
For hobbies, actually I did my piano degree, haha love simpons, but the writers must be different, it's not as good as it used to be.

> Man, read Anthony Robbins, Gerald Jampolsky: stuff like that. As someone whos studied a lot of psychology at uni I can tell you that motivation books help you more than any clinical psych book. Actually you told me you saw a motivational speaker once: who was it ?
>
Well it's a bit of a story, the health club I go to is run by a motivational speaker. I've gotten to know him a little bit, and he's burning these cd's on this motivational speaker for me. I read some of your posts lately. Andrew thanks so much for your responses.

I'll keep you in my prayers take care man. I'll keep you posted on any changes in my situation.

> Gotta go Ben, but I'm praying for you. Give me your email if you want.

Bentley79@hotmail.com, oh but my email is set to exclusive so that no emails that aren't in my address book can get in. If I don't do that I get literally dozens of junk mail every day. Could I get your address again, than I could put it in and your emails would come through

All the best, Ben
