I'm not bipolar and I'm not 'classically' depressed but I do take zoloft and I wasn't aware of how well it was working til I went off it recently and I became an emotional bitch - snapping at my husband, impatient, getting angry over stupid things, tears while watching commercials, ~obsessing over possible future conflicts. Zoloft helps me w/ all of these issues.

Busbar did nothing (only tried it 3 three weeks and made me a bit woozy). Remeron and Welbutrin - one kept me awake for 4 days and the other put me to sleep for 4 days.

good luck,
