Now I know that either Clonazepam is not for me, or not a good combination with Wellbutrin. Hopefully the brain racing and sleeplessness will subside after a while.

The sleeplessness and brain racing is probably from the Wellbutrin and should subside after awhile. If you are taking two doses a day make sure you're not taking the second dose too close to bedtime. Mainly the second dose should be taken at least 8 hours after the first, so you can adjust your schedule accordingly.
I take Xanax in the evening to help me sleep, that may be another option to discuss with your pdoc.
