"How you tell a tic from a TD is TD is not just facial tics".

>>>>>>Tics aren't only limited to the face....Tammy, find the book by Gary Null titled The Food-Mood Body Connection---book stores like Border's should have it---it has a chapter devoted to just what you're looking for, help for TD....hope that helps you!

She has improved slightly since the beginning(taking her off respirdal)and prozac. She is currently on high doses of vitamin E, she is on a concentrated dose of lecethin and yes she is taking Omega. Not just omega 3 actually. She is taking a combined 3-6-9 omega oil capsule once daily. I have also started taking the omega vitamin as it is very good for your heart as well! We are very early on in our quest with vitamins and I will keep you posted as to how she responds. We are seeking out the services of a Ortho-molecular doctor at the present time. He has contacted us and is willing to help. I will keep you posted. I appreciate any feedback personal or professional that I receive. Tardive Dyskinesia is a well kept secret by the psychiatric community and it can and does have devistating effects on your overall quality of life. It is time that TD is brought to the forefront for all patients young and old can make an informed decision on whether to try a medication or not. Benefits vs. Risks. Take Care Mama Bear aka Tammy
