Liz,

I agree with xjs - Geodon worked very well for me with no side effects. If you are prone to gaining weight from meds, Risperdal could still make you gain but not like Zyprexa (#1 lard drug).

I don't know anything about Abilify personally.

Risperdal gave me extremely blurred vision. However, I'm one of those people who gets the most obscure side effects possible. I even got the Lamictal rash that supposedly happens to maybe 3% of those who use it.

Another possibility is Sulpiride (Dogmatil). It worked VERY well for me but if you live in the US, you'll have to order it from overseas. It stopped my anxious thought patterns and helped tremendously with social phobia as well.
