I started effexor xr a while ago and worked it up to 225mg. I didn't feel it was doing much for me so I upped the dose to 300mg myself for a while and noticed a big difference for the better. Yet when I told my doctor he would'nt perscribe it at 300mg. I was wondering if there was any way I could get it perscribed at 300mg because I dont want to go through the long process of switching medications again. This is my third med and so far the only one that has worked.
