Your welcome. A good suggestion is just try 12.5mg of Zoloft and see if it has any theraputic value for you. If so I can imagine the side-effects may lessen. It's really upsetting that most SSRI's make most of us pack on fat. A very horrible side-effect since it causes self-esteem issues than can lead to more depression.
The fist SSRI I ever took was Zoloft and it caused hypomania. It then started to just slow down my metabolism greatly with no theraputic effects. I gave it a fair trail of 4 months. It wasn't untill the about the almost the third month that I started to see the weight gain sneak up. So I went to see my doctor. Unfortunately my regular wasn't there so I settled for another doctor. I told him that Zoloft wasn't working. Before I was finished with my sentence he handed me a script for Paxil. I hope he got something out of that because all I got was another 2 more inches on my waist! I need to find a better doctor.
