Whats a good mood stabilizer with Abilify????

I would like to know what is a good mood stabilizer to take along with Abilify. I know they use anti-convulsive meds generally. However depakote can't be used because it causes bad side effects.

Abilify is suppose to eliminate aggression, anxiety and that but for some reason so far it has not. Currently on 15mgs the psdoc is to increse it probably to 20mgs. Eventually wants to go to 30mgs. Stay there for 6 months if it does not work than thinking of Clozapine. This scares me. But for now question is a mood stabilizer to go with the Ablify. Any suggestions?
